Been reading about why French UX design seems (in my experience) lower quality than other nations' & Minitel / Télétel is often the explanation given by French people. Reading about it, this incredible fact came up. But I still don't get why Minitel is the cause. France had a massive digital lead.

@mysociety.bsky.social don't know where to report this, but I just tried to visit the "Expenses from 2010 onwards" link on Emily Thornberry's #TheyWorkForYou page but it just shows this 'Page not found' error. Should it be pointing to her IPSA page? www.theipsa.org.uk/mp-staffing-...
