I’m in Paris for a work event. I was walking to the metro at Hotel de Ville and a Tesla went by on a flatbed tow truck. Everyone around me cheered and a tour guide yelled into his mic “dump it in the seine!” C’est la vie, as they say. cc @alexwinter.com @teslatakedown.com

I just followed a boat-load of peeps from my formative days on the old site, specific to tech/engineering. It’s been ages since I engaged in tech socials. The old site killed it for me. But, is something awakening?

in about 5 minutes I was able to basically rebuild my following list from my early favorite days of twitter, of webcomics artists, musicians, comedians, and other subversives. Thanks to @damnyouwillis.bsky.social for liking all the same people i liked :).

After last week I needed a dose of positivity. Started a rewatch of Ted Lasso. Man, I didn’t realize how wound tight I was. Much needed.
