Saturday eas the first MLs game I’ve watched on Apple. Oh my god. The commentary was terrible and the colour commentary was ridiculous. There are a half dozen local people in Vancouver who would have done a far more professional job.

Advocacy is the greatest gift a parent can give themselves and their kid. It’s hard and it’s a lot of work, but it’s way better to do it alongside them now than to find out when they are adults that they needed support all along.

Good piece. But when you end it saying this could have been so much different I was expecting to read about what would have happened if some choice had been made versus some other CB choice. I would like to know how, in retrospect, they could have survived.

Levy out. Whatever. There’s nothing to do and nothing else to try. And Eze has become full villain mode for Spurs fans. Fuck that guy.

Only the clock will prevent this game being 7-0

I’m aware. I was referring to a win that happened in Vancouver.

Up the fucking Rise. All day long.

Well…the Grey Cup is a thing. And 1994 happened. And it was incredible. And it happened in Vancouver. (I know you said “nearly”)

The Spurs captain that broke the curse and won a European trophy? Who won a Golden Boot with the club?

Nah. This isn’t the take you’re looking for.

You’re thinking of Harry Kane.

But also the day which two new pro women’s sports teams started. Hmmm….

The full throated audience participation was brilliant. May it long continue.

The Goldeneyes seem have realized - or just stumbled on the fact - that fan participation > entertaining the sedentary masses. Their DJ nailed the vibe perfectly.

Thanks! It’s amazing how even the briefest of in person connections you and I have had makes our online interactions so much richer.
