I spoke to BBC Radio Surrey to express my disappointment that re-routing of the Fastway 100 service was delivered at the expense of long-established communities without proper consultation or communication.

So I asked the Education Committee Chair what confidence parents can have that lives like this child’s will be saved unless and until local authorities are held accountable to the law and there is swift and decisive intervention if they abuse their powers. 3/3

It is a disgrace that even the last resort for getting important post wasn’t available to these residents. To make matters worse, Royal Mail have stopped replying to my office when I raise these concerns.

This comes even though in our area, over 25% of mail arrives late - well below their 93% target.

In Buckland and Betchworth, the part-time post lady was moved to another round with no replacement. Constituents had no post at all during her leave.
