Yeah, this. I think they should do all the things Mark is suggesting, and they can say it as part of their campaigning. But the uber focus on Trump is why we're in this mess, and it's pretty clear Democrats can win when hyperfocusing on materially improving people's lives.

The more I think about it it’s kinda surprising he wanted the job. He must’ve known they weren’t good and had limited avenues to really flip the roster around meaningfully the next few years.

Maybe. Sans the Fox injury, this is the team that Sullivan inherited. I have a hard time believing he thought they’d contender this year. And he was aware of their contract/cap situation so he’d knew they had limited avenues to improve roster wise. I’d think he hangs around as long as Drury does

Have my kid’s school play tonight which should end around 10, which I think is actually the worst possible outcome of all. I will probably make it home for the final 5 mins or so, which should be tremendously relaxing either way

I've also gotten way more into reading the last two years, probably for some similar underlying reasons, and one thing I can't shake is how there is basically nobody in my everyday life who reads. Like, at all. That, oddly, makes it feel like some form of resistance.

Phil I know a great dentist in NYC, if you can't stand taking the train in then guess what — you can actually drive in! It will just cost you a little extra and you'll have an easier time getting around because the city is a lot less crowded thanks to congestion pricing. Good luck and get fucked!
