“It speaks for itself” also assumes that everyone has seen the post/heard the remark/read the article. I’m continually surprising my family/friends with comments that they have no clue what I’m talking about because they aren’t on social media and MSM isn’t covering it.

Which of your essays is your favorite, and why? (fun to write, felt the strongest about the topic, etc.) And we should probably exclude the Lost reviews, since I’m sure those were all fun to write.

I find that, for me, it depends on my frame of mind at the time. I’ll pick up a book by a favorite author, start reading, then say “eh, this isn’t clicking with me this time,” and then come back to it months later and love it.
