How in the world this wasn’t a foul — even before he got the ball — is beyond me. Still, the Nuggets didn’t execute well in the fourth and put themselves in a situation where this missed call was very impactful in the loss to Portland. A busy week next week with 4 games in 6 days, beginning Monday.

We’re starting to see more of this type of multiple-effort, great defense out of the Nuggets. They are remaking themselves on this side of the court and there are some good early returns as they look to be more consistent and disruptive. They had 14 steals in Saturday’s game vs. Phoenix. #NuggetsSky

The Nuggets did a fabulous job of holding down OKC’s leading scorer, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, to 7-of-22 shooting. He led the NBA in drives and averaged 56% shooting on those in the regular season. He shot just 44% on drives in Game 3. This is what he constantly saw… a packed paint #NuggetsSky

The Nuggets have to have their defensive rotations flawless as well, because this team passes it extremely well — particularly if, say, Kawhi or Harden are doubled, like the play below.
