I can't start to tell you how good it is to be home. I love #northdevon and the beaches and the people are genuinely immensely friendly. I'm immensely grateful that I can do this and seek out experiences.

Final day in Braunton. Lovely meal in the Rolle Inn Quay for #diningdevon (I'd confidently say the last restaurant blog in Devon, no Instagram doesn't count). 8 hour braised beef hit the spot on many levels #devon #barnstaple

Day 2: Thoughts about the lodge. Details matter - (it's not a chalet darling, it's got underfloor heating, hot tub and an eco-loo) it's been well built and clearly a lot of money has been sunk into it. But details, like the granite hard sofa and the equally granite hard bed, seem overlooked.
