Oh dear. I'm all in favour of LibDems winning (I am a member after all) but my heart freezes when I hear LibDem supporters hoping for Reform to gain votes. That way lies a very slippery slope.

That will send a message to the companies that they are not indispensable and can be allowed to fail. And if they don't listen, gives us a cadre of people able to pick up the pieces when they do fail.

In the US, the Army Corps of Engineers is responsible for most of the countries waterways, dams, etc. Why don't we create a Corp of Emergency Water Engineering, probably in the TA, so it can recruit from the companies.
