The Milburn review on youth inactivity must listen to young people and their advocates. We need a radical shift: early intervention, whole-family approaches, person-centred support, recognition that wellbeing matters as much as jobs. Community and voluntary sector is pivotal and needs proper funds.

The commissioning and procurement coming out of Combined Authorities is farcical. The opportunity Labour had to get things right through the Trailblazer programmes under the Get Britain Working policy will be completey missed. Such a waste of tax payers money. @patmcfaddenmp.bsky.social
