I will see this movie but for a second I thought Miss Piggy was going to be the next Mary Todd Lincoln and I got *very* excited.

The thing I felt most insane about listening to the interview was the inability of Klein to connect his understanding of the eroding support of trans people with the trans-skeptical articles written *by his own newspaper*.

I will say that it's fascinating/pretty cool that this type of infographic exists and the fighting over the name of the different regions seems like not the most objectionable thing about the NYT these days, BUT ... why is this part of Bay Ridge being considered "Cuomoland?" (NB my folks live there)

I did my own research and discovered that I am not alone. Thousands of people choke every year while eating, and hundreds of those people die. Thats why I don't feed my kids. Its dangerous. Now plenty of people will point out that food supposedly "prevents starvation," and that might be true, but Its not fair to completely ignore all the dangers food poses, like choking, allergies, gingivitis, and garlic breath. I'm just saying, do your own research and decide what you think is best for your kids. If you choose to give your kids potentially deadly food, thats your problem, but as a parent, I don't think the government has any right to tell me that I need to feed my kids.

YOU: I'm calling on [HOUSE MEMBER] to vote NO to HR 9495 when it comes back to the floor again next week. The changes to the bill aren't enough to address all previous concerns regarding it creating new powers that would be ripe for abuse. YOU: While HR 9495's core aim of supporting wrongfully detained U.S. nationals is sound, the bill would still empower any Secretary of the Treasury with a tool that would give them broad discretionary powers, which could easily become a threat to free speech and a violation of due process.
