Last night, I sat next to a man who desperately wanted attention. How did he try to get that attention? By claiming the reason for the wildfires in LA is that California firefighters aren’t white enough.

Proof that I’m not a bad professional correspondence writer. I feel vindicated!

I grew up in Pacific Palisades. We evacuated in 1977 or 1978 when fire burned down to Sunset Boulevard. It’s a pretty darn scary experience and my heart goes out to my old neighborhood.
