East blue crew x Greek gods concepts because why not-

Here's the sketches of the east blue crew (minus chopper) as Greek gods because I love Greek mythology. Zoro as Ares Well, he's the god of war and since fighting is one the main aspects of Zoro's character I thought it fitted. He's very linked to the bushido code which was the code of japanese warriors Nami as Hermes She is linked to wealth and mischief just like Hermes so I really the combination. Her climatact design would be linked to Hermes original staff. Usopp as Artemis Well it was kinda hard for Usopp but Artemis is a huntress, so it's a direct link with Usopp being a sniper especially during time-skip when he had to hunt to sharpen his skills. I think Artemis fits even more for Hancock but I really wanted to put the main crew as olympus gods it is what it is. (She would be Medusa in my au for obvious reasons) Sanji as Aphrodite/Eros Because we are feeling the power of love here ! I'm hesitating between the two since Aphrodite is linked to love in all its forms and she was linked to war in some version and fighting with love as a weapon is very powerful. I'm still choosing Aphrodite bc just like Usopp I wanted to restrict myself as olympus gods and ALSO because of the direct link with Ares/Zoro. They are both complentary while showing strength in different ways just like their characters

It's a drawing of kuina and kid zoro running in a wheatfield, also in a golden hour ? details : - Kuina is ahead of zoro because he still needs to catch up to her. - Kuina's wheat is longer than Zoro's for the same reason, she has more experience than him (Her wheat is white to represent wado and zoro having three wheats is for obvious reasons). - Also the the way kuina is holding her wheat like she's about to let it fall is an echo to her leaving wado to zoro. - The last detail is not by me but I like that she has the color palette of wado in the outfit and white was also linked to death and funerals in Japan so I wanted to accuentate to contrast it with the other colors. So yeah that's it, thank you for listening to my rant !

Forgot the alt text for the main post, so here it is : It's an animation of zoro and Shenron from dragon ball. The clouds at the bottom are moving, and some elements are glowing (a blue light behind them, zoro's and Shenron's eyes, and the dragon he's holding in the middle. (Drawing a dragon is sooo hard but it was so satisfying that hardest part was def zoro's pose but it was worth it !)

Flying maps and adventures

(If you're asking, no, this was not supposed to be my piece for nami birthday and no, I'm not late)

This composition is divided into two parts. On the first one on the left, child nami is sitting on a desk in the middle of the ocean, drawing maps. Some maps escape and flow into the air. (?) The second part is all the straw hats pirates in their post timeskip outfits. They are on grass with nami looking at the flying maps on the foreground, behind luffy tangling into usopp and behind, Franky is smiling at them. Even further, jinbei is sunbathing, Robin is next to him and chopper is showing her a book page. In the background, zoro is laying the ground with sanji and brook next to him.
