You might have noticed that the One Piece flag used in Madagascar’s Gen-Z protests looks different from the original one.

That’s because the hat has been switched to a Malagasy one, specifically one associated with the Betsileo, one of the highlander ethnic groups.

Flying maps and adventures

(If you're asking, no, this was not supposed to be my piece for nami birthday and no, I'm not late)

This composition is divided into two parts. On the first one on the left, child nami is sitting on a desk in the middle of the ocean, drawing maps. Some maps escape and flow into the air. (?) The second part is all the straw hats pirates in their post timeskip outfits. They are on grass with nami looking at the flying maps on the foreground, behind luffy tangling into usopp and behind, Franky is smiling at them. Even further, jinbei is sunbathing, Robin is next to him and chopper is showing her a book page. In the background, zoro is laying the ground with sanji and brook next to him.

Zoro and Kuina running in a wheatfield was somethig I never thought I needed to draw but now I feel complete

It's a drawing of kuina and kid zoro running in a wheatfield, also in a golden hour ? details : - Kuina is ahead of zoro because he still needs to catch up to her. - Kuina's wheat is longer than Zoro's for the same reason, she has more experience than him (Her wheat is white to represent wado and zoro having three wheats is for obvious reasons). - Also the the way kuina is holding her wheat like she's about to let it fall is an echo to her leaving wado to zoro. - The last detail is not by me but I like that she has the color palette of wado in the outfit and white was also linked to death and funerals in Japan so I wanted to accuentate to contrast it with the other colors. So yeah that's it, thank you for listening to my rant !
