When in Mexico for a wedding with a bunch of friends from work, we stayed up one night drinking tequila and smoking the local product, while we watched a magnificent lightening storm just off the coast. We had a great view from the hotel balcony. It was awesome!

This is a shot of a traditional Chinese ancient town Tai'an, in Sichuan, China. The wet stone streets, traditional wooden architecture with upturned eaves, and red lanterns hanging from the buildings create such an atmospheric scene. The misty mountains in the background add to the classic charm of these historic water towns. One can see various shop signs in Chinese characters, and there are small vendors set up along the street. The recent rain has left the stone pavement beautifully reflective, which really enhances the timeless quality of the scene.
