One of my unused sketches made into a final drawing (personal work). The concept was originally for the NYT Book Review back in 2022, which chose a different sketch to publish at the time.
I had fun making this red monochrome palette.

Spread for Inc. Magazine for the workplaces still committed to supporting their employees and creating thriving work environments in spite of others rolling back their promises. Thanks for having me AD Erin❤️✨

A drawing I made in b&w back in 2019, which I colorized in 2023. A peculiar type of UFO.

This is a graphite drawing with digital colorizing.

Originally just one color variant (I made a 2nd one and animated them for my own experiment). For @nyt Paired with a review of Tao Leigh Goffe’s book “Dark Laboratory.”We went with an unusual color scheme to take the environment out of the lense through which it was traditionally seen/portrayed.

These were 2 of 4 coaster oil paintings that sold in 2022 for Nucleus Portland’s coaster show - really loved how they came out and how they look together. It was nice to explore painting again after 10 years of a hiatus. I’m mostly a drawer but it was quite fun to experiment🌈🦆

From 2023, a full page for The Atlantic magazine for a book review of Zadie Smith’s “The Fraud.” This historical fiction was a lot of fun to bring to life, I would looove to do more historical projects. Many thanks to AD Gaby Pesquiera🖤🙏 The most traditional Victorian color palette was published.

Hegel and Alexandre Kojève from last year, two philosophers with a shared theory on what drives human history and what prevents us from having an egalitarian society. (Ego). I recommend reading about them!

For Tablet magazine, AD Esther Werdiger✨🙏

Sharing this older one from a couple years ago, I had heard a lot of stories about orbs and other paranormal encounters and the idea intrigues me. Not all of them are scary👽

Jumping on to share this 2/3 spread from 2023, for Johns Hopkins magazine about broccoli sprouts and their superpowers against diseases and cancers. Broccoli does this too, but not to the same degree as the sprouts.

I drew this with charcoal on white paper and colorized it in photoshop.

In this new space, I’ll share a mixture of old and new work, for now completely at random.

This one is from 2020, made with pan pastel & color pencils. Strange growths in egg yolks.

It’s a smaller and simpler drawing, but for some reason I’m enthralled by it and want to make more like it🖤
Always draw what you wish existed in real life.

Drawn with black and white pencils on toned paper, colorized digitally.

Hello, going to start this with a piece that took around 5 months for me to complete (with breaks). It’s made with pan pastels and color pencils.
This new platform will take me some getting used to, never been much for social media and never had X.
