It's finally done! This is my double-sided Downy Woodpecker collage installation! I just cleaned up the edges and added clear elastic for it to hang from the ceiling. She's a beaut!! 🪶 #birds #Sciart #birdart #painterlycollage

We need more days off for labor day because instead of sleeping and relaxing like I want to do, my sister and some friends are visiting, we're going to an arcade, skating a pump track, swimming in a river, going out dancing, and going out to see fireworks. 😮💨 I'm grateful but I'm tired

Currently in a hellish cycle where working out to treat chronic pain makes the pain worse because I'm at square one but the pain won't get better until I work out enough 🥹

This collage was made during my recent residency with Visionaries + Voices, a Cincinnati art studio that assists and collaborates with disabled artists. This piece "Ishmael at Work" is a portrait of Ismael- someone I met whose comics I was immediately enamoured by.

Yesterday I woke up at 4:30 a.m., went to a park outside the city, and birded for 6 hours. I saw 33 species, including a rare Northern Waterthrush, and a lot of lifers. It was a blast. Here are some pictures I took 🐥

So I got an app called ScreenZen that pauses your apps before you open them with a message saying "is this important?" And you can set a timer for the app every time you open it. It's been working so well! And it's free 💚 i did soooo much yesterday, it was great. It's exactly what I needed
Going to try and truly tackle my phone addiction. I'm sick of seeing my life and my passion for art fall to the side just because I use this glass rectangle full of anger and fear and consumerism to distract myself from my feelings!!!!
