No images we see from Hubble or Webb are "real colors", since these telescopes capture entirely (in the case of Webb) or largely (in the case of Hubble) wavelengths outside the visible spectrum.

More accurately, they map wavelengths that aren't visible to the human eye to visible wavelengths. Entirely normal and expected for images from telescopes like Webb and Hubble.

Most images from space telescopes are technically "false color", because they don't capture RGB frequencies, so captured frames have to be mapped to the visible spectrum.

This is entirely normal, and doesn't undermine anything.
