A suggestion from Limón, my foster dog:
Boycott Amazon, Home Depot, and Target on Black Friday and instead visit your local animal shelter and adopt or foster a pet. So much better than buying stuff you don’t need that doesn’t cuddle up with you and keep you warm.

In the summer of 2022she was seriously injured by a Russian strike and underwent a leg amputation

I live next door to a Catholic church in Chicago, the parishioners of which are mainly Latino.

Last night a small group of were outside on the sidewalk praying a devotion.

And I immediately thought, “It’s dangerous for you to be praying on the sidewalk with ICE in town.”

This is all so wrong.
