I love how fast I go from solving some ridiculously complicated problem or teaching a gf some complicated programming thing and then I curl up on the couch and say stupid stuff like “im sleeby. noooo no light light is bad. oh that lights ok its blocked by that thingything. yeah that. lub u toooo”

If anybody that knows me has ever been curious what my main job has been, it’s this! It’s been an entire year and a half since the last major update, and I’m super happy with all the improvements we made this time :3 It’s definitely still missing polish in a lot of places, but it’s getting closer…

I was trying a recipe today that called for beetroot, which I’ve never had before, and after the experience I can make two assertions:
1. Beetroots are literal actual alien plants, why tf are they so purple and squishy and wet
2. They straight up just taste like dirt. Why is this in any recipe????

for the longest time i felt ashamed for my unfinished projects, esp. ones people were excited for or helped fund. but… i’ve always been in survival mode. i’ve always had adhd.

it’s not shame now. these projects can sit alongside the things i’d like to do for me, when i’m *safe*.
