In any case, this lady's internal logic surrounding this whole thing is delusional - she believes her husband deserves leniency after being a thief and rapist but brown people who deal drugs and are "bad people" should not. It's clear this lady is a racist.

people have brought up that they disagree committing crimes mandates deportation AND they are debating whether her husband is a criminal AND whether a person can be categorically labeled a criminal forever

I think important to clarify that her position is that
1. criminals deserve to be deported
2. her husband's not a criminal (even though he's a convicted rapist)
