One.com, my website host, "upgraded" my website, for their reasons and not at my request. After the "upgrade" my webpages don't work as expected, with a database error. They RENAMED my databases, without warning or notification.

Has anyone else noticed that the advertised time a BBC programme starts is the time adverts for other BBC stuff starts so the programmes are always late. I think this is a deliberate plan to counter anti BBC stuff in the RW press. It is annoying that it happens and that the BBC thinks it is needed.

I'm trying to install some updated software (FreeCAD & LibreOffice) on a Windows 11 PC. What pain!. How does anyone put up with Windows? It installed widgets that drag performance to 0, took hours to update with multiple restarts (last win update was a week ago!). MS can't write decent O/S!

Keir Starmer needs to understand that if you copy the main policy of the opposition, you are doomed to fail. It reinforces their policy, they will be better at it so you naturally come second and, with Reform, you become racist scum too.

I suspect that William, Prince of Wales, has had a big hand in the removal of Andrew. If this is correct, I think we have a wonderful King in waiting and I wish him every success in reforming the monarchy.

Wow, Look North from Leeds today, not the blether from LN Hull. Proper interview, no pointless VoxPops, no right-wing agendas pushed, no self aggrandizing of the presenter. It just shows what we could have in the east if we saw personnel changes in Hull.

I've just watched a young lad riding his bike quite slowly (fortunately) whilst staring at his mobile phone. He rode slap bang into the back of a parked car and fell off his bike. He picked himself up, looked around to see if the car owner noticed and set off again, continuing to stare at his phone.

Just watching skeins of geese flying to feed. Their normal v-shapes are being battered in the remnants of the storm into small groups with a lot of stragglers getting left behind. It looks like hard work and they’re honking much more than usual.

If you are thinking about upgrading a MacBook to MacOS Tahoe 26.0, I'd hold off until the myriad of bugs are fixed, hopefully in the next update. It is useable but frustrating. I expect better than this.

Kemi Badenoch say we need to get "all our oil and gas out of the North Sea". Problem is: it's not our oil, it belongs to the oil company who extracts it, as per the deal struck last century. The UK doesn't benefit, only the oil companies. Don't tell Kemi: BigOil helps fund Reform UK!
