… Bittersweet thinking about the day our family visited the North Rim of Grand Canyon NP last summer. While it was quite busy it felt more “park-ish” and less “attraction” than the South Rim. The drive in was scenic and we saw Bison along with evidence of life coming back after a previous fire.💔

All the Minecraft Live hype today is a great distraction from the stress and drag of regular non-online life. But alas I suppose I have to get back to it now.

Heck yeah macgyver moment getting the dryer working again. Truly a 0% loan from myself with the broken pen cap and small amount of washi tape I used to fix the broken “door closed” switch. 🤪 That sure turned a Monday moment into a win.

I like that we all heard the way Toto inexpertly mangled the word “Serengeti” to fit the meter but the rest of the song goes so hard that we pretend it never happened.

It’s stupid when you realize it was/is hard to forgive someone because then you admit you have to also forgive yourself for what they almost made you do… escaping into a happy sewing place for now. If this old thread is still good and contributing I probably am still worth something…🧵🪡

Awww I always have a soft spot for pigeons. Maybe it’s a subconscious acknowledgement of their more glorious past….

I know the monk parakeets aren’t really supposed to be here, but neither are the pigeons or starlings. Can’t take a great picture but hearing them among the many bird calls makes me smile when going about a mundane day. 🌴🏬🦜🌴

It’s amazing how much of a stress relief sewing can be. Or maybe I just can’t have scissors and other sharp objects out in a time of high stress… hmmm. 🤔

There’s few things more terrifying yet hilarious than a baby zombie jockey in Minecraft. (This was while defeating a baby zombie spawner in trial chambers). I wonder if I’ll ever face it again. ⛏️⚔️
