This seems significant: not a FORMER DHS official, but a SENIOR (current) one saying the officer who fired acted counter to training.
This is not an admin that admits mistakes. And they are hanging this guy out to dry on Day One.

So I finally went to delete my Hetzner account after moving to Hostinger a few months back, and was alarmed to find that I didn't get any confirmation emails about my account being deleted, and all it took to delete the account was my account password (despite 2FA being setup and enabled)
