My uncle's the guy for HVAC and general light electrical work. Anything else in the trades, he knows a guy. You need a guy whacked by the Mafia? My ex's BFF's dad knows a guy, they owe him because they ruined his car upholstery once, allegedly.

Back when I worked at the newspaper, I knew a motorcycle cop nicknamed Radar. It was double-funny because, being a motorcycle cop, he sat behind a tree with a radar gun, and he also looked like the guy from M*A*S*H .

For example, my brother's AR-15 is banned in a lot of places where my Mini-14 is legal, because the latter has a traditional-style wood stock and blued metal. Same mag capacity and caliber (with aftermarket mags, bc Bill Ruger was a ***** and rolled over for Clinton), but not scary black rifle.

Not exactly that situation, but plenty of "It seemed like a good idea at the time" moments. On your example, one of my friends in high school once tried meth, came to her senses two days later with sore naughty bits and a sparkling clean bathroom, and decided to stick to pot and booze.

I'm pretty sure the only "major constraint" is that they're no longer allowed to assassinate foreign heads of state/government. So they just give Israel a discount on F-15s and have Mossad do the wet work.
