Child rape is very, very common. It is usually our fathers, uncles or close male relative/friend who rape us. Trump & the Republicans are tapping into an American tradition. Girls who disclose often end up homeless.

Virginia Giuffre talks about this in great length in her book. The first time she blurted out that her own father was raping her to the rest of the family, they didn't do shit. When she brought it up many years later as an adult, then the dad was ostracized, but that was about it.
