in s3 we had several episodes of lucifer/cain bonding, and not once was fratricide brought up

i wish lucifer and amenadiel’s relationship was more raw. it would hit harder if it was less smooth in later seasons
they’ve come a long way, learned to trust and rely on each other. but lucifer was holding back. i wish he trusted amenadiel enough to show how much he hurt him

crazy how in all six seasons of lucifer’s therapy his selfishness was never acknowledged as a survival mechanism. of course he learned to put himself first, that’s how he got through eons of hell more or less intact. he’s actually very well adjusted in comparison to his siblings

the worst thing about it? it has some truly great concepts and scenes and even full masterpiece episodes but it completely misses the mark with the characters, both old and new
