I stood on the street in the rain for 4+ hours to shoot pictures of them. She saw them and said “Oh good, you got me before I started crying. It was sooo cooold!” 🥹😄 Very proud of all the girls. 😊

I love the quote & the sentiment! The lieutenant’s myopic view isn’t what we need from police. Some people do need arresting & some need tickets but many just need help to make their lives better. I’m glad that interaction inspired him into leadership and sorry that it likely discouraged others.
