It must be miserable living in fear you create for yourself. A few days ago, a dude on the (perfectly safe) DC metro took the time to bungee cord his bike to a pole for 3 (THREE) stops and proceeded to eye everyone that got close to him. Today a woman for 10ish stops was seated with her backpack...

People need to lay off the therapy terms. No, your friend is not trauma dumping. They are simply trying to share thoughts/feelings/experiences. It's really not that hard to listen and empathize a little if you just try..
