What a workshop!

Musicologist and recitalist Tamara Freeman played music composed in the ghettos and camps of Nazi Europe and shared paintings to an intimate audience of genocide students and children of Holocaust survivors. We processed emotions and memory through art in meaningful partnership.

What an important evening. Thank you so much for sharing your time and wisdom, Andrea!
Had a moving evening at Ramapo College’s @chgs-ramapo.bsky.social tonight, talking about the Holocaust and how the US is repeating concentration camp history with immigration policy right now, as well as the decades this moment has been in the making, Gaza, Myanmar, Xinjiang, Assam, and more.

Our trip this past summer was so wonderful, we're running it again in Summer 2026. We encouraged all interested students to attend this info session.

Great news! We raised funds to cover the $1,000 fee for the 2-credit course for all participants! Program, flight & incidental fees paid by students.

We're thrilled at the opportunity to bring this program to Ramapo College for Women's History Month.

In the spring, we intend to stage a table-read of one of Ms. Rana's plays on this difficult subject. Students are encouraged to become involved!

Ramapo students enjoying their time in Prague! The fancy room is the Franz Kafka Hall at the Jewish community, which was a place where young Jews could socialize freely during Communism.
