Trump’s retribution strategy is to use the taxpayer funded DOJ to to bring flimsy cases, that have little chance of succeeding in court, but very effectively empty the pockets of the accused, who aren’t funded by said taxpayers.

Flat income taxes are not fair.
Progressive taxes make those who can most afford it pay more & those who can least afford it pay less.
But the wealthy hire accountants to avoid the taxes they are supposed to be paying.

When the pie becomes too small, the masses who make products & provide services can no longer afford to buy them, & the economy collapses.
