A flat minimum wage puts the most stress on small businesses & almost no stress on wealthy corporations.
A progressive minimum wage would force businesses to pay more as they become more profitable.

Flat income taxes are not fair.
Progressive taxes make those who can most afford it pay more & those who can least afford it pay less.
But the wealthy hire accountants to avoid the taxes they are supposed to be paying.

When the wealthy hoard money, everyone else has to compete for a smaller piece of the pie.
When the pie becomes too small, the masses who make products & provide services can no longer afford to buy them, & the economy collapses.

There is no doubt that capitalism generates wealth. But unfettered capitalism mimics the board game Monopoly, where there is only one winner & everyone else goes broke.

Being a journalist who reports in written form vs live on-air requires two different skill sets. One can be crafted & refined with time. The other is spontaneous & risky because it can’t be edited.
