I'm firing up the charcoal Weber because it is a balmy 7C, but dry at Chez Ashby. I'm going to prepare epic cheeseburgers for dinner. Also, I'm grilling heaps of tomatoes, onions, garlic and chillies for a spicy sauce to accompany the chips. The secret ingredient is Maggi. What are you eating? 😀

The dreaded car insurance renewal is coming. The wonderful insurer invited me to renew my existing policy at 2x the cost of last year (all up for 2x human beings) so I went to the Meerkat and asked for competitive quotes. I laughed for five minutes straight. 🤣 It limits time in Europe too!! Go Girl!

On our last trip to Belgium, I bought 200 cans of this Belgium beer. 500ml cans for 0.49€ each. It isn't just flogged to guests, but I drink it and reckon it is pretty good. Paired with pickles I can't find in Amsterdam. Brilliant!
