Getting back into a routine this year. Here I sit at the mall with a herring sandwich, catching up on the news after dropping off the dry cleaning. The fishmonger is a bit light, but he promised tuna and scallops next week. I've got anchovies to pair with mozzarella and olive oil for a snack later.

After a four-week hiatus from the clean gym and Christmas indulging, the cardio kicked my arse. I was so hot I returned home and opened all the windows despite it being 4c two hours ago, and I am still sweating my arse off. I need another freezing cold shower.

Roaming on my NL SIM in England gives me faster 4G data compared to my EE UK SIM. Sure, I am using the Vodafone tower instead of the shit EE/Three infrastructure but I didn't expect this. UK where everything is broken and unnecessarily complicated 😢

A pint always tastes better after passing security at the airport. Surprisingly, the flight is only delayed 36 minutes. After flying with Emirates a few days ago, it is hard work enduring SleazyJet, the queues and unhappy faces in the terminal.

Last night it was very blowie. Someone lost their balcony furniture. A chair ended up hitting a parked car. Whoops. I hauled our BBQ inside to avoid any embarrassment. On my last day off, I am sipping coffee, watching everyone come and go. A flight to England later today for the weekend. Joy 😀
