I saw a cartoon a few days ago showing a boy getting an F, then going on to beat his wife, storm the capital, and become an ice agent. I thought, “Jesus, we’re going to blame teachers for this too?” Then I found a study that attempts to answer the question, “who are these ICE assholes, anyway?”
I think about this 2019 study a lot, and I suspect we’ll be seeing more of this line of inquiry as the federal governments loosens requirements, shortens training and increases pressure on agents to perform arrests. ajps.org/2019/10/08/w...
