Omg, I just realized… Ocarina of Time came out in 1998… The 3DS remake came out 13 years later in 2011… In June, it will be 15 years since then… We’re long overdue for another remake. That’s insane. These numbers feel wrong. I’m so old. 😭

The true drawback of the all digital future of gaming is the few storefronts that will control the pricing. This future is inevitable, but we need legislation that will stop storefronts from charging prices that don’t make sense. Why is Dark Souls 3, a 9 year old game, still a full price game!?

With all of the FEATURES, the love and dedication Sakurai is putting into Air Riders, I don’t know how there’s not more hype around it. Man is literally putting anything he can into this game, and there is SO MUCH detail, it’s WILD. It’s gonna be an incredible end product.

I wonder if there will ever come a day where Metroid Other M finally gets the love it deserves.

The people I'm grieving for tonight are his victims: the impressionable children he misled for his own enrichment, & even more, the people he dehumanized along the way with his endless racism, fascism, & misogyny, people whose lives are worse because of his choices. That's where my sympathy lies.

Thinking back on it a few months later, I really loved Donkey Kong Bananza, despite having some problems with it, but after sitting on it, Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze is still my favorite Donkey Kong game. I guess there’s just something about a more curated, linear experience that I prefer.

Being decently far removed at this point from playing this game, it just becomes more and more clear how special this game was. I still have my reservations about certain aspects of it, but overall, what an incredible experience

Idk, it’s been a long time since I’ve played Kirby Air Ride, but isn’t everybody saying it’s just the same game a bit unfair? Lots more playable characters, maps, abilities, vehicles and even vehicle types , and different modes too. Plus 16 player online City Trial!? This game looks incredible.

I didn’t agree with everything Iwata-san did running Nintendo, but that doesn’t mean that he didn’t do incredible things, and what do I know? Even when Nintendo made awful weird decisions back then, they somehow always climbed back on top. I stopped questioning them a long time ago.
