This takes me back a while, daughter also performed in Les Mis at school, early in her time there and thus a minor part. Given a costume shopping list, the haberdashers were unable to provide some items since 'the prostitutes have taken all those '. It was all great fun at the time.

The ordinary folks houses in the rows were completely basic, there Is a good representation in the Time and Tide Museum, it's very good - not just if you are interested in herrings www.timeandtide.norfolk.gov.uk
