@paramountplus.com the only reason I have a subscription is so I can binge Voyager on an infinite loop until I die. Why did you remove seasons 3 and 4? I have zero reason to stay subscribed now 😢

Remembering how horrified I was when I got my first corporate job and the entire team worked by FTP'ing into the live server with Visual Studio and that's just where everyone worked. Right there on the prod server. Every minor change live in prod the moment you hit save. Wild times lol.

Fuck Amazon. Right as New World finds its stride they shut down the entirety of Amazon Game Studios and fire everyone. Boneheaded move, but they're too big to care. "Too big to care" is becoming a common problem with companies lately.

Don't fuck with nebulae. You'll hurt it and have to mend it, or it'll take someone hostage until you release the sample you took, or it's gonna make you hallucinate until you blow up your new refinery, or an alien will hitch a ride, or it's a space venus fly trap, or...

I really love the k9s (k9scli.io) utility for managing Kubernetes. Shout out to Fernand Galiana (x.com/kitesurfer) for creating and maintaining such a useful tool!

One of my favorite Homer lines is "Pssh, facts schmacts. You can prove anything even remotely true with facts!" Now all I can picture is Pam Bondi saying it with a straight face.

I hate snake_case formatting in programming and it always put me off of Python, but I only just now realized that it would be illegal to use any other casing format with Python 😅

We believe healthcare is a right for every American.

But starting today, millions of people will be notified that they are being priced out of their insurance thanks to Republican policies.

Enough is enough. The GOP may shut down the government, but we will stand tall for YOU.

The amount of people that don't know that they are supposed to get over on the shoulder *before* they slow down for their turn is too damn high.

Chrome's new tab split view (available in chrome://flags) is pretty awesome. Been debugging a page that is modifiable in edit mode and has to sync in real time with the live mode version. Not having to juggle two Chrome windows has been so nice.

I'm always disappointed every time a rapture prediction doesn't come true. Just think of how much better things would be..............here on Earth.

I specifically remember my dad once saying when I was around 15 years old in 1985, “All these education cuts are gonna cripple the country down the road, I can feel it.” He was right.

In 50 years, we'll look back on this era of cancerous brain rot, nihilism & ideological extremes with shame & regret that we never did a thing about the social media algorithms designed to reward polarization, outrage & hatred. But in the meantime, we'll all be fodder for the content slaughter mill

Charlie Kirk would say his death was an acceptable statistic. I say it's not. Yet somehow I'm a bad person for this?

No one should be gunned down, no matter who they are or what they say. I disagreed strongly with this statement when Kirk made it, and I disagree with it even more now that someone killed him in cold blood.

The skin-tight shields depicted in Strange New Worlds certainly make for some cool CGI effects, but I miss the shield bubble from 90s Trek. I want to see this fancy CGI done with the classic shield bubble.
