Just an old, white, straight, cisgender, male doing my best to love everyone and to remind them that they are precious and beloved.

Let's trade stories over coffee or beer. Can we bike there together?
I think "Gift-Giving" might be my self-love language. Is that a thing? I'm really good at it.

Icy sidewalks? Use salt sparingly. A good salt spread has each grain at about three inches apart.

Who would have guessed that the Republican to finally grow a conscience and a backbone would be Marjorie Taylor Greene?

Finally getting around to giving you my full review of Rabbi Brian's Highly Unorthodox Gospel.

Great Book. Highly Recommend. Probably not for you if you are convinced that your particular flavor of religion is the only right one.

Saw this saying recently

If this flag offends you
I'll help you pack

No it doesn't offend me.

Know what does offend me? When fascists and pedophiles and racists and religious bigots wrap themselves up in the flag. That's offensive.

Don't assume my offense has anything to do with the flag.

President Trump’s announcement that he was making the Fox News host Jeanine Pirro the interim U.S. attorney in Washington has raised questions about whether he had legitimate legal authority to do so. Here is a closer look.

We apologize to our Ukrainian supporters. We are embarrassed by how our president and vice president have behaved. We are fighting to redeem the soul of America. 🇺🇸

If you're a cartoonist, steal this idea.

Imagine Zelenskyy in the ocean, drowning, crying for help. Trump is on the dock, life ring in hand saying, "I think maybe we can help you. Let's talk mineral rights."

"What? Seriously?"

"But you have to be grateful. You don't sound very grateful."

RIP Gene Hackman. Gene was, and still is, my "go to" actor. I'm always up for a Gene Hackman film, and very rarely disappointed.

This date is approaching soon. I wonder how much havoc will occur with this transition?

For illustrative purposes, every country in the world should pass a law allowing them to detain Israelis for any reason, and put them in "administrative detention" for up to six months, renewable indefinitely.

Sometimes when I'm ending an email, I sign off with "Love, jp". And then I wonder if it's appropriate to say "love" with this particular person who may think it's weird. But then I think, F*&$ it. I do love them. If they think it's weird, too bad. They'll have to deal.

I saw something at a funeral I'd never seen before. A story was shared about how the kids received a Christmas present one year of a 50 dollar bill with the assignment to keep their eyes open for someone who needs it, and to give it away at that time.

One of my saddest but truest cartoons.

Some say I cause more division by pointing out the division.

As if burying our heads in the sand makes the problem go away.

It doesn't for those suffering! Right?

Let's be bold! See the problem, acknowledge it, voice it, then fix it!

Made plans today to go chase some windmills. Not 'til April though. Who wants to chase windmills before the tulips are blooming? That's madness.

I just gave my wife a 5-minute play by play of the 5 turkeys walking down the middle of our street.

They split up. They turned around. They blocked traffic. It was the most excitement we've had all day.

This is my life now.

I was gonna try giving up being so gosh darn handsome for Lent, but this sounds more doable.

Love it when people embrace one of my favorite artists - @nakedpastor.bsky.social !!!
at Judson Church we are giving up bad religion for Lent and replacing it with good religion. We are using the artistry of the @nakedpastor.bsky.social to help us on the journey.
There are times when your spirituality must express itself in defiance.

I think now is such a time.

You?

I have this image on stickers, mugs, prints, etc.

May their efforts be successful!

There is a new documentary on Sly and the Family Stone coming out on HULU this Thursday.

I just heard this song and it seemed rather timely.
