My friend who's watching my playthrough put it like this and I wholeheartedly agree: Deltarune's story can only be told as a video game. It cannot work in any other medium. If the elements of that present in Undertale intrigue you, Deltarune dials that up and breaks the knob off.

idk if it differentiates itself enough from a frozen key lime pie to be worth it since the baja blast flavor is so subtle, but as far as gimmick fast food items go, this could've been a lot worse. at the end of the day it's a good pie.

it works! plenty of tang and tartness. they're definitely going for a key lime pie with a twist of the baja. the filling is a bit thicker on the tongue than a key lime would be, which is to be expected since it's frozen.

here's what a slice looks like. as you can see, it's actually a bit more blue than the usual baja blast green. graham cracker crust. looks like they attempted to combine traits from cream pies and your standard key lime. let's bite in.

the big reveal. doesn't smell like much, just slightly sugary.

it comes frozen, has a seal, and thaws quickly, so we've decided to wait until we get home to get into it so that we can actually eat the whole pie. enjoying my spicy potato tacos in the meantime.

one hour in my partner informed me that the pie is actually nationwide and that it's just the pie drink that's only in the one spot. stopped at a bell in the middle of nowhere and are getting the pie. our cat will be happy. so the good news is: you, too, can get the pie!

filling up even though my tank is relatively full since idk when i'll see gas under $4 again and then we're off to the races
