If you’re going for the toony designs for your characters, make the environment more flat colored and celshaded. Trying to mix photo realism with anima flat colors just…doesn’t look good lol

Shame. The base game loop idea (capture creatures, build base, set up economy) sounds like it has potential, but screw that.

Have an idea
Scribble notes
Let it stew for a few mins/hours/days/weeks/months
Take notes and draft a document
Repeat stew process
Update document
Repeat stew process
Print it, make edits based on errors
Read on phone, tablet, computer and page..spot different things

My game design goals never align with everything else going on in my life. There is just not enough time. But I feel some pressure to kick butt right NOW. April-July are when game design is just about lowest priority. But, I am still trying to make this My Year—publisher signing one of my games. 🎲✂️
