The most heartbreaking part of all of this has been realizing that people you love and are related to have vile beliefs, and voted in that way.

I don’t see him giving up power except by force or by medical incapacity. As the force part seems pretty violent, I’m currently entertaining myself by guessing how many bunches of bananas my family will buy and consume before that last bunch outlasts him being healthy enough to be in charge.

Paraphrasing what numerous others have already said…it’s not like Democrats are the only ones who need insulin. This is cruel.

Can anyone who understands Syria explain what the relationship is between the PM and Assad? Is he a conspirator with Assad - whether reluctant or enthusiastic - or is he someone who the new folks in charge are okay with?

Blue Cross Blue Shield in Connecticut, New York and Missouri has declared it will no longer pay for anesthesia for the full length of some surgeries.
It the procedure goes over a certain time, anesthesia will not be covered for the duration.
