We have this falafel place in Knoxville TN run by and named for a Syrian refugee who is so happy to be a new American citizen. Yassin’s food is sooo good and he is all about giving back to the community. In 2019 the restaurant was named “Nicest Place in America”

More than a decade after the limited edition sold out, I was able to find and afford a pair of new in the box Hieronomous Bosch Garden of Earthly Delights Doc Martens. College me didn’t know they made them but future high school art teacher me is lucky to have them (and a little afraid to wear them)

I have a notion to document every item in my overflowing closet to try and make some sense of what I have and what I don’t need. I’m sure it’s more elaborate than necessary and I’ll probably stall out but it involves graph paper and color coding so let’s see how long I can hyper fixate.

I love this entire list. Also, how do you know so much about my sink full of dishes, all the books I bought but haven’t read, and my laundry piles. Heading out to touch grass momentarily. Thanks for the motivation.

My 16yo has suffered with hypermobility joint pain for a year. She’s gone to PT, OT, rheumatologists but it was only getting worse. Her grades have fallen and she has grown depressed. Yesterday she met with an amazing team at Vanderbilt Children’s Pain Clinic and she now has HOPE for improvement!

My 16yo has suffered with hypermobility joint pain for a year. She’s gone to PT, OT, rheumatologists but it was only getting worse. Her grades have fallen and she has grown depressed. Yesterday she met with an amazing team at Vanderbilt Children’s Pain Clinic and she now has HOPE for improvement!
Pro tip: some glitter nail polish on paper money makes for a magical first tooth fairy payment!

Wow! I have this class from 8:30-10am (EST) and could do this lesson almost anytime (but a cold winter morning with pancake art is preferred) Let me know a date that would work for you and I’ll work it into our plans!

I’m really good at winning contests but it’s mostly a skill set of hyperfixating on reading the contest rules very very closely. Most people don’t look at them at all.

I can get a room full of 32 high school students to sit quietly, listen to me, and then do what I ask them to do. It’s magical. During Covid I was able to get 30 kindergartners to do what I said via zoom. It’s a whole Pied Piper vibe.

I love all of this! I teach a high school drawing class and always schedule one day when they mix up batter and draw their own pancake art. It’s especially great when this class is 1st period. I’m going to look you up as a inspo artist!
