Finished this project with my DIY upgrade to 4 switches/inch. Our County Fair theme for 2025 was BEE-Lieve in the Magic of the Fair. I shortened it for the project. My Seattle Skyline and this are both displayed.

Ends done on the Seattle Skyline project. Plan to do it again with enough warp to cover the graph I have. It turned out OK, will look better with the planned upgrade from 3 shaft switches/" to 4. @ 3, the switched color length in the weft, seen vertically here, is 1/3".

End finishing on this project removed from the loom 4 days ago. This is was the tail end of the 2nd shaft switching warp on my HD Rug loom adapted with the shaft switching setup designed by Gisela von Weisz of Sweden.

My skyline is 1/2 done. Since math/spatial orientation are hard after 6 concussions, moving a graphic image to weaving is difficult.

I initially erred on the graph sizing, Ht but not W OK. With redo I missed that project W would increase until about 1/3 done.

Warp is enough for 60% of planned.

I'm on 4 of 4 placemats weaving 2S Rep weave. The last of the warp will be used up with a runner.

I'm slowly working my way through increasing shafts on my newest loom, the Glimakra. I'm at 2 now, and trying new techniques. Currently 2S Reb Weave placemats, next 2S saddle blanket style throw then 3S Krokbragd.

I began with a RHL & currently have 2 floor looms, a 4S HD rug loom with shaft switching & 10S Glimakra standard. I have an 8S Ashford table loom, a DIY rug twining loom, 10" & 15" rigid heddle looms, a pin loom & a DIY backstrap loom I use traveling.
