The job in November 2026 is to vote for every Democrat on the ballot. If you want to change those Dems the time to do that is in the primaries which are not in November 2026. Unless the goal is to keep maga in control of Congress.

quick aside: in light of yesterday’s anniversary of the murder of 4 students protesting peacefully at Kent State in 1970, it’s worth remembering that the mass movements that have given us the rights we have as Americans today are often not popular in their own time.

Lol yes, I had none!! I'm glad it took about 3-4 days for me to get through it. I think i didn't give ASITF a fair shake because I wanted to get to the Maeve-and-Josh bits! Made myself go a little slower and be more attentive through this one, although of course that second part was a page-turner!!

Good call!! One night I was listening to the audiobook, and turned that off only to keep reading my e-book for several more hours 😆
