To reiterate, the wood door that descends from the ceiling during the earlier part of karma explodes and is followed by death of a STAR imagery. She is the star AND the creator. The door at the end of the show represents an escape from the Taylor Show but what is on the other side is not known.

Truman asks “is any of this real?” the creator says “you were real… you are afraid and that is why you can’t leave.” He bargains with Truman to get him to stay but Truman realizes that he’s ready to face his fear and go to #TheOtherSideofTheDoor. The entire story is about what it means to be “real.”
