Wasn't allowed to participate in sports until I had my license, so ran 1 year of track (long and mid-distance and my least fave: 800m relay leg) and I didn't do all that well. Cross country though? LOVED it. Lettered & my coach is still running well into his 80s, while I'm reduced to powerwalking.
