It's the end of an era. The email came yesterday, so I don't think it's an April Fools hoax...it looks like #NaNoWriMo is no more. I was honored to ML (lead) for my area for about 10 or so years. I made so many friends and wrote 14 #novels because of this event and I will miss it.

It's the end of an era. The email came yesterday, so I don't think it's an April Fools hoax...it looks like #NaNoWriMo is no more. I was honored to ML (lead) for my area for about 10 or so years. I made so many friends and wrote 14 #novels because of this event and I will miss it.
I remember when #happymail meant a #penpal letter or #ATCswap. Since my eyes got so bad, I've abandoned my poor pen pals. Should write to a couple of my faves to see if they would be interested in corresponding again. Today's happy mail is a #Wicked tee. It helps that the model is as goofy as me. 💚

Worked the #paralegal gig today & since I was in town, went to the bank for cash (need change for tips tomorrow) & was only a couple blocks from the #art studio. Planned to sign up for 2 classes-ended up with 3! 🤣Hope my eyeballs will be healthy enough to use by mid-month. Tomorrow is the Poe show.

The day after hubs yelling at me over nothing, I suddenly got apology roses. I think he saw all the hard work that went into the spreadsheet he yelled about & had a change of heart. It wasn't an apology in words, but for hubs--first time ever he gave me apology roses. I'll take it.

Just sent hubs a lupus flare article that'll hopefully inform him that he is being more harmful than helpful atm. With his stroke brain & prior personality traits, I don't know if it'll work, but it's worth a shot. (Stroke brain makes him more *hysterical -not the right word & I'm not leaving him.)

Busy here. Worked my butt off yesterday & Sunday from the comfort of pajamas & my bed. Today, still working but catching up on some housework & renewing my passport. We hope to go to HI this fall. Still illing, so it's good I had nothing planned for this week & can #chill. Maybe will do #art later.

In an awful #lupusflare atm and trying to achieve that perfect balance where I can still human & do the things I love (write, art, walk, dance) with the necessities of work, errands & housework. I'm only doing the bare necessities this coming week, hoping to feel better.
Here's what I did in #art class today--it was #coffeepainting and I had so much fun. I don't exactly hate what I did, but I'm more of a creative than an artist, so I have a lot of room for improvement. The stripes were my #swatch card and I plan to make a bookmark out of it.

Wow. My least inclined to exercise friend (a bestie from high school) just asked me about the classes I'm taking for line dance and at the gym. It's reverse peer pressure!! Back in the day my buddies tried to get me to smoke, but I was a runner. She was one of them and I can't love it more.
