Nintendo is currently at 33 games added to Nintendo Classics in 2025. They were at 49 games at this point in 2024, and 52 in 2023. There are definitely some systems they are leaving behind.

Despite it not clicking with me the last time I tried to play it, I'm giving serious thought to getting this on pay day.
Finished Perfect Dark over the weekend. I just decided the other day that I want to play through an N64 game I haven't beaten.
I normally get a few levels in and move on. Not this time. I really enjoyed it. Until I spent an hour on the last boss only to find out I was barking up the wrong tree.

Played the the Old School Rally demo this morning. Reminds me of V Rally and Colin McRae, among others. It's pretty good. Looks cracking with the CRT filter on. This might be my Xmas game this year.

Despite annoying NPCs, Metroid Prime 4 still looks rad. That trailer was enough to get a yes from me.
And I'm blindly hoping that the folk you interact with only make up a small percentage of the game. Those previews say they only had an hour with it and you leave the guy behind during that time.

Had half an hour on the Kirby Air Riders global test. It looks great, but it's not really clicking with me. It was never gonna be a day one for me, but maybe if I can find it for £20 in a year or two, I'll pick it up.
I'll give it another shot later on. It might start working for me.

Haven't been particularly interested in the Atari 50 DLC, as tbh, I'm not really into the old 2600 stuff, but that new Namco pack has piqued my interest.

Played a bit of Animal Crossing before work this morning. I miss the days when that meant I played ACNH for a good couple of hours before turning the laptop on and still having it running in the background.
Now it feels like there isn't enough time in the day to dig up all the fossils.

That's Luigi's Mansion finished. Well, aside from the singular Boo I was unable to locate. Not through want of trying. Got fed up of going back and forth through many of the same rooms over and over to find the one guy.
But I had fun. And I'm pleased I have all 3 games on Switch now.

Nintendo Today have added Nintendo Power covers (and a fun Halloween banner). It would be neat if they had a few scans of some of the pages, too. But it's nice they're doing something a little different.

That new Animal Crossing update looks alright I suppose. As close as we're going to get in terms of having an additional island I suppose. Unless they've more to announce, I'm not particularly arsed about the Switch 2 edition.

Had this bad boy for breakfast this morning, and I couldn't finish it. I'm worried because it's the first meal I've paid for that I've not been able to finish (not including any challenge type foods). Was genuinely stuffed until the afternoon.

Any recommendations for Witcher 3 on Switch? I know its compressed to fuck, but does it run better on Switch 2? Or probably worth waiting to see if there's a Switch 2 edition? The Switcher.

About time!
The new NBA season starts tonight. Looking forward to seeing lots of new look teams following some interesting trades over the summer. But not as much as I am seeing the Bucks win it all this season. NBA cup and the playoffs.
