The thing is, I know that the jabs are her unprocessed grief over my lola and the things she's attacking me for are things about me that are like my lola. But I don't have the strength to be her trigger outlet.

It was almost as if I could hear the pendulum say to me, "Ay naku! Bahala na!"

The trick is for me to move through that evolution without acting reactively out of anger and vengeance... instead I need to heal the emotional injuries and nurse myself through a grief that I never thought that I would have to feel.
